Horizon didn't disappoint.Love the title, the music and the jaw- dropping scenery. It all absolutely held my attention for the whole film.It was dotting about a bit ,but I think this will be easier to follow as 2,3 &4 unfold.
The kids were marvellous in it.I liked the way the daughter took over for her mother when she was still in shock as much as the son staying to die with his father.I loved the way it showed the Indians' troubles too, like the mum/granny calling to the horse boy who wouldnt listen .The love interests are promising & I cant wait to see how those unfold. Not sure the widow character would so soon go after another man...but I suppose in the wild west it was usually safer to have a man & he was in uniform!
I loved the 2 scruffy baddie brothers ,very true to life of brothers.Shame one got killed cos I liked their awful banter.
I thought Kevin looked a bit neat...but he had just been to the washouse when the girl was chatting him up and he still took my breath away!Loved when he wasn't interested with the girl on top! I liked that she was strikingly different to the other female characters as I got a bit confused between some of them looking similar.
I absolutely loved the film and was certainly hooked to go back for 2,3 &4.
I totally understood the point of having it at the cinema because it was so nice to step out of my life and be immersed &afraid to move to the toilet or eat snacks in case I missed the plot.It felt really wierd going back into the real world after, which shows how immersive Horizon is.
