It was Fun!! Yes Fun!! Just like the movie it is not deep or something you have to think about and look for meaning. If you just want a fun night out and you liked the movie you will enjoy the play. So if you like the music of the 70's and want an evening that is light and fun I would recommend seeing Almost Famous
