Wow! Exceptional acting with the queen of acting, Viola Davis. Supporting cast was also exceptional. Great plot, didn't shy away from the slavery history, and the exploitation of women. I found myself so emotionally invested right from the beginning. This is NOT your typical action movie. It is just a beautiful look at humanity and the basic need for human rights. Various plot lines intermingled, but at it's core, it is a story of bravery, redemption, love, life, trust, and really, really makes you think about what we do to human beings. The movie has all the things that were great about Black Panther, but with even more emotional investment. Good for Sony Pictures for distributing and supporting this wonderful movie getting made.
