I have no idea why people hate this so much. The only thing I didn't like is how the plot was not very clear. 1 second it's about 200k cash bailing out a petty dealer [still don't know why they bailed him out] . Now personally I love how Nicholas Cage went from straight cop to guy who just kills and does what's necessary to get these diamonds/money. Elijah's character was also very good. Clearly some guy with issues and is a YOUNG guy so he is gling to be unsure of himself and scared. He was a straight cop who was forced into being an accomplice to murdering people and stealing crazy money from crazy unknown people. I feel like people need to enjoy how REAL this love is. Not every movie or real event plays put like oceans 11 or 13. So them messing up and not being smart is REAL. Not for the plot. Yes it's kinda jank..but you kinda figure out these people with the diamonds are clearly mob of some sort from their guns, tactics to pulling off hits and unmarked vaults full of perrect cut diamonds. Also the picture used for the movies thumbnail is COMPLETELY WRING IN Depicting the movie.
