I understand why people are so upset over this game. It's the expectations based on what this studio did with the Arkham series. I get it. I loved those games and still play them again and again. It's called Kill the Justice League for a reason. Maybe Batman could've been handled differently. All that being said, after watching the trailers for the game and going in with the expectation that I would absolutely hate this game.... I don't. It needs work. I couldn't stop seeing Fortnite and it completely turned me off. This game isn't that. It's trying to be its own thing. There have been plenty of games dropped by great studios that were a trainwreck upon release (Cyberpunk, Destiny 2, No Mans Sky, etc...) but these studios were committed to its fan base and making corrections that would please those fans. Rocksteady is an incredible studio and right now I'm giving this game a 3 out of 5. The comments about every character being the same just isn't true. They all feel and respond differently and while I haven't gotten deep enough into the game to really explore Metropolis...It's beautiful. I haven't had a single bug or frame rate issue in my experience on PS5. Hopefully with time and the additional content and full offline mode, people will see that this game isn't anything like the review bombs it's getting. Again, I had no intention to order this game at release but as of right now I'm not hating it the way I expected too. It's definitely not a top 20 PS5 game at this current stage. If you are expecting Arkham, then don't buy this.
