Honestly, apart from 3-4 dailogues (which could have been written waaaaaaay better or avoided at all) the movie is good one time experience. Prabhas is spectacular as Raghav (aka Ram), has done absolute justice to the purushotam characteristics of Ram - poised, calm, "adarsh". Kriti Sanon looks as graceful as Sita is described in every Ramayan. Even Said Ali Khan portrays character of Ravana splendidly. The movie is beautiful to watch on screen!
Story of Ramayana is huge and cannot be shown completely in 3 hour setting, but the team has shown the major incidents - jatayu scene, Sita's abduction, sanjeevni pahad that Hanuman ji brings, Kumbharan and Indrajit fights, and the Last epic fight between Ram and Ravana.
At some places, VFX could still have been improved further but to compare it with movies that has VFX budgets in millions is unfair.
It's commendable job done for a movie that's been released in not just Hindi, Tamil, telegu but also languages like Assamese. (You'll need budget like 600 crore to do that).
I too, having read the reviews first didn't go, but decided to book at last minute. I thoroughly enjoyed it. There are good funny dialogues too guys.
Definitely take your family, parents or grandparents!
