Based on reviews of others, I didn't have high expectations, but I was very pleasantly surprised. Excellent performances by the two leads, and an excellent screenplay. Graphic & heartbreaking display of the kinds of hardships faced by former slaves trying to achieve freedom for the first time in a foreign country. This would be a great film to show students who are learning about the history of racial strife in 🇺🇸 America. Alan Podsadowski, Vancouver Canada

Excellent show! It's incredible just how much these nice folks can do for $20-50k. They are not only fine people, but they are funny, trustworthy, and fair. It reminds me of my childhood, and summer vacations in Maine. Alan Podsadowski Maple Ridge British Columbia Canada.
