I actually enjoyed the book up until the very end. Spoilers ahead****** Verity faking the paralysis the whole time could have been spun so much better! The ending left us confused and it was genuinely a cop out. Reminded me of books and movies that end up “it was all just a dream”. Lowel and Jeremy getting together made as much sense as Verity and Jeremy getting together - none. This book had SO MUCH POTENTIAL. Ending ruined it for me
