Everyone has the right to their own opinion. In the case of the show being negatively reviewed for lack of action. Although in the first two episodes I see no flaw. With this being a show and not a movie it is excellent in world building and a show of understanding of early middle earth while slow, I say it must be. Although not immediately battle ridden entertainment, the show sets up anticipation for more. The first few episodes paint a aesthetically beautiful world that leaves many things unanswered but does not lack to give enough to feel excited for episodes to come. For those who feel the show lacks what LOTR and even somewhat the Hobbit series brought must remember that this age is meant to be different. Sauron has not yet shown his hand. It is perfectly setting up the events to which any fan knows will unfold. Patience is key. As the series unfolds my opinion may change but so far it is definitely worth the watch!
