25hrs in and the story is the only thing keeping me going. The game is slow and the combat and exploration is uninspiring. Every “mission” takes a minimum of an hour. 20 minutes of fighting countless enemies and 40 minutes of trying to figure out the inconsistent puzzles that are required to just traverse the world. The game tries very hard to be challenging and ends up being a chore. The rules of combat switch on the fly with no warning or proper explanation. It feels border line broken at times. Enemies can turn into sponges mid fight and on hard mode they keep spawning. It’s not worth full price. I’d wait for patches and or price drop.

All the 1-3 star reviews are from people who don’t like seeing too many black or gay characters in any given game or movie. Apparently the existence of gays in this game is part of some “agenda” to make others feel included. It’s a shame really, this game is an accomplishment on many levels even though it isn’t perfect. If you’re too sensitive to see a white guy portrayed as evil, maybe you should skip reality altogether and not just this game🙄
