I do not wish to discredit Ogawa's skill as a writer, or heavily criticize this book, however, I would like to warn potential readers that this book is more suitable for children in my humble opinion. There are some nice touches to the writing but if you are a reader who likes to really get their teeth into something complex and deep, this is not for you. I found it far too simple and lacked grit and complexity. I would recommend it for teenagers perhaps.
