Breathtaking. Brilliant. Awe-inspiring. Beyond epic. A 6-star masterpiece. I’m 58 years-old, and I have never seen anything like this series. Nothing comes close. Not even Breaking Bad. This is 10 times more Faustian than Faust. You need a strong stomach. Lots of blood and gore. Edgar Allan Poe gave them a ton of great material to work with (I was an English major). I’m sure they took license in all kinds of ways, and purists will be outraged, as they usually are. But WOW. Wow wow wow.
