Clint plays an old cowboy enlisted by a shady horse farm owner to retrieve his erstwhile abandoned son in Mexico. LOVE Clint and stuck with this mess for 50 painful minutes before leaving it. He looked all of his 90’ish years, was slow walking, slow talking, and just plain slow.

Wonderfully delightful! Life’s lessons are musically presented with energetic and heartfelt feeling as the young strive for success and the old deliver the wisdom of life’s experiences with honesty and sincerity. A terrific experience!

The film is faithful to the biography written more than a decade ago. Although most will assume that the focus of the film is on the Manhattan Project, the social and political facets of the film steadily work to craft the film’s conclusion which is satisfying if not redemptive. I’d watch it again.
