If one were looking for something to surprise them in a good way, The Orville ticks those boxes, with its brilliant casts and writing and i wouldn't complain so much about its special effects, the costumes are amazing when we look at what they've put their attention on. However, despite it being a tremendously successful series and a very enjoyable watch, a science nerd can't help but feel put-off by the scientific inaccuracies in many many cases, but that is purely depending on the viewer if they want to be bothered by it or not and simply enjoy what is. Would i recommend it? Ofcourse, it is a far better option to watch than most of the things out there . But beware, there'll be inaccuracies which you're most likely to find in many places. ... .... Sometimes it sucks the joy out of it. But still .. amazing.
