Most overrated movie I've seen all year. It tried to be "Silence of the Lambs" in places and "Annabelle" in others, but never quite manages either. The plot falls flat at so many points. Yes, there are few jump scares, but there are few scares altogether. Really just silly

This would have been an easy win for me - Ferrari, racing, biopic. Instead it was a massive waste of time. The structure was almost as bad as Driver's alleged acting. His accent was as fleeting as his comic timing. There was also no budget for indoor lights in this film. What were we supposed to feel in the final scene? Last, CGI racing is always a no no for me.

Amazing show. Especially if you actually watch it.

Edit: Episode 4 is way better. Might suggest skipping at least the first two episodes. Edit 2: I was wrong. From episode 4 it only gets better and better. Epic show! Everything I wanted! Was so excited for this. Love the character design, world design, sound, everything. However, the pacing is poor. Beyond poor. There is not enough time to build the suspense and meaning in moments. They get to the Briarwood saga way too quickly - we didn't have enough time to "get to know" Percy. This destroys the stakes and the emotional weight - the very things that made the original stream legendary. I actually think that this story is better expressed as a table-top RPG show. I love Critical Role! I've watched every episode. The gang got me through a rough time - I owe them a lot. But, this show is ruining that experience a little. So disappointed.

Love it! Keeps the heart of the novel and somehow pours more heart into it. Might not be the end all and be all of adaptations, but - man - it's a work of art. Enjoyed every minute of it! More like this please.
