Watched it in 2022 , rewatched it in 2024. I still don't understand why people hated it in the first place. One complaint I heard was that there wasn't that shocking twist that Peele does in his past movies. It's just plain stupid. A director should pull his boundaries . He shouldn't be making the same piece he did a 100 times. People asking for the same formula as getout Or us are just acting as junkies. Nope is a fantastic movie & a fresh take on extra terrestrials. It's engaging, beautiful cinematography & overall a great scifi movie.

If a movie can be called half baked , this is it. They threw all the cliche tropes of an officer's family being threatened, killed, multiple mutilated naked girls, used the word " Psycho " a 100 times etc still made zero impact with a viewer. It was like a last minute school project. People who trusted the star value of Nayanthara & JayamRavi was the most fooled. After Ratchasan many movies tried to reach its level & failed miserably, Iraivan is no different. The movie felt boring even though I skipped & played it faster. People will flock the theaters if there is a strong plot & thrills. Industry should stop making movies like this. Actors who played the killers were terrible too, it was mostly comical.
