Adored The Little Mermaid saw it yesterday just gorgeous to watch

Loved it, it is filmed like a Play with key discussions and meeting of key people taking place, not large set pieces. The attempts to trash it are demented..the actress is mixed race at lease 50% "European" from what I can tell, but she is constantly described as "sub Saharan" The key male actors are British and white yet supposed to be Romans ie Latins?mediterranean but not a peep of criticism directed in their direction, but all the abuse is aimed at the female lead and Producer-go figure

LOVED IT..many viewers seem to have a penchant for "loud brash" suitors perhaps ?? which sees our lovely gentle Wentworth overly critiqued.They are a gorgeous couple and even though the tone is a little comical..Annes lengthy anguish is conveyed so well. The beautiful final scene song from Birdy "Quietly yours" says it all really. It is a very English story so don't expect a "loud" love interest.
