Awful movie. It's funny, I know the 70's version with David Sole was not a faithful adaptation of the novel but it is one of my all time favourite films. The later version with Rob Lowe was closer to the book but something was definitely missing. However this new version has tried to copy the 70's version but a very badly edited version. Cutting out all the parts that somehow link all the pieces together. Also, without spoilers, where did they come up with that ending?

Brilliant. I loved every minute. You have to understand that this is a biographical film about the man. If you're thinking you'll be watching scenes about Hiroshima/Nagasaki you'll be disappointed. Oh, and by the way. I'm not a Bot despite what the 1🌟 reviewer said.
