I love chick flicks. I love romcoms. I love Julia Roberts. I adore George Clooney. I hadn’t seen a movie in the theatre for years. Everything pointed to me having a super time at TtP. Couldn’t have been wronger (yes, I just coined a word… with apologies to Lewis Carroll!) Weak script, zero chemistry between the actors, even Roberts and Clooney weren’t able to lift it into mediocrity. But if it was just that, it’d have been ok. There was the stereotypical viewing of the east by the west - oh yeah they’re all spiritual and have this amazing culture - that made me want to gag. There were so many holes in the story that I can’t even begin. Utterly missable movie. Don’t waste your time and money.
