I was a big Sopranos fan and very exicited when I heard about this movie coming out. I couldnt wait to see all the characters from the Sopranos younger and how they all tied into becoming loyal to Toni. I was also excited to see how Toni’s real life son would play a young Toni hoping the similiarity would capture the Charactor we all knew. To say this movie was disappointing is an understatement. Simply it was boring, it hardly held my attention. The reason they focused mostly on extended family members of Toni’s that where hardly if not at all in the series Sopranos is what made it boring. There was alao not nearly enough about Toni’s past to give insight for what was to come for him. In fact they left us believing Toni’s plan would be to not follow the footsteps of his family when they made his pinky swear promise to be good with his dead uncle the important last scene. If this movie came out first the series that followed would have been about a Kid from Jersey who grew up in a gangster family with a mentally ill mother who over came those challenges and became a proffesional football player.
