Such an original plot is refreshing, but also requires a lot from the author, but it appears the mere originality of the story is enough to give grace beyond measure to an author who relied heavily upon the unseen hand of “superiors” and whose big ideas left more holes in the plot than they filled. I finished the story with a mind spiraling with questions and untied loose ends.
