Amazing. I love how Evan Peters portrayed Dahmer so accurately. I’ve watched the documentaries on him and this was dead on. He was a sick and twisted guy who suffered from severe and undiagnosed mental illness until it was too late. He was deemed “sane” by a jury of morons, when he clearly should have been deemed insane and thrown into a mental institution. He needed a few shrinks and some pills and maybe then we would’ve all gotten an answer as to why he did what he did and what was truly wrong with him mentally. All Dahmer ever wanted was to know why he felt the way he did and committed the brutal acts that he had. He never got a real diagnosis. He suffered from multiple mental illnesses and disorders and his upbringing and childhood was mentally and emotionally abusive. His mother and father were horrible examples for him and they neglected him. He never got the help he needed when it was clear as day that he was not normal. I like that Evan Peters portrays Dahmers mental instability perfectly. My heart goes out to all the victims and their families, especially the parents of the young 14 year old boys he molested and murdered. I also liked the fact that they touched on the racism of the police and lack of involvement from the pathetic law enforcement throughout the whole thing. Must watch! I binged it in two nights!
