It was cute! There were some plot holes (ex. Stein being around, although Maka and Soul didn't recognize him in Soul Eater) in relation to characters from the main series, but aside from that it's a fun show. I'd recommend watching it, just think of it as more of an alternate universe or something, otherwise you'll get confused. But it's a pretty quick watch, the characters are fun, and the plot was engaging :)
