[SPOILERS]
Graphics were great but after a while it became forgettable.
Absolutely hated that they brought back the main villain to have a rematch and despite losing again was not killed off, meaning he will be reappearing in future avatar movies.
Sigourney weaver's voice as her younger kid kept getting in the way of the experience. Getting a 73 yr old lady to voice a child wasn't their brightest moment. I don't see what's wrong with casting a young actor who resembled her instead. Oh plus her being in tune with aewa was just out of no where.
Thought the family size was a little too confusing, with little to no character development going into the youngest child. Found the two brothers very difficult to differentiate meaning i'd spend a couple minutes not paying attention to the show to try to determine which brother i just saw. Oh and after all that 'character development' they just killed one off. Thats one down for the next movie but i'm not watching it.
Overall, really poor writing which made this a really hard film to watch, as great graphics are not the reason why I go to the theatres. Cheap storylines like these with mediocre character development and an over-reliance on nostalgia in my opinion don't make great movies. I was really wishing for something like top gun maverick where the characters and storylines didn't completely depend on the 1st show.
Just a huge flop for james cameron and a real wasted opportunity. Not a fan
