This story is my all time favorite anime movie, this was a bit confusing as I first saw this movie, but later I read a post from the director and writer of kimi no na wa, that this story blends lot with Japanese traditions and myths, folklore...and also time traveling and the birth fate of the main 2 protagonists..and their fate to meet and be together from the priestess string(japanese myth) that Mitsuha had passed to Taki, as she first officially met him. This is so amazing and will make your heart pound every minute and will never make you bored!! FAstro paced amazing movie with amazing animation.
