It’s a mediocre sci-fi show with great visuals, but it doesn’t feel like Star Trek. It’s not particularly clever or thought provoking, it’s no longer suitable for young audiences due to graphic violence and swearing, and the supporting characters aren’t well established (even by the end of season 3). If you’re a young adult into sci-fi you’ll probably like it, but the old positive Star Trek that inspired kids into STEM and philosophy has been lost. A real shame.
