Rafe Judkins and Amazon, what did you do to the "Wheel of Time". You have killed the serpent and ended this latest age all on your own with a horrible adaptation of an amazing series by R Jordan. The injection of "woke" hot button topics, and the general political-correctness of Hollywood has destroyed in the first episode, what could have been an amazing video series. I started this series with a large amount of joy and knew after the first episode the liberties taken by the writing, directing and graphics design was, at best, C-level quality. (Spoiler below) I have read dozens of these reviews and am shocked that people think this is a "spot on adaptation from book series to video". In the first episode alone, there are literally dozens of non-canonical errors, one of the most glaring being Perrin killing his wife?!?!? The fact that anyone thinks there is anything accurate from book to video is amazingly false. I think those types of posts are auto-generated. Save yourself the time, read the books or listen to the audio books. You will find way more pleasure in those experiences over this show.
