I'm sorry. Are you kidding me? Having the audacity to say eating eggs is as bad as smoking cigarettes?? And fat is bad? What is this, the 20th century? First of all, recent studies have shown that the cholesterol you eat (like in eggs) isn't related to the LDL cholesterol in your body. In fact, SUGAR is. Eating sugar raises your cholesterol levels. Relating to my second point, why the heck was sugar brushed off? Fat (besides trans fat) isn't the enemy!!! Sugar is! The obesity epidemic started around the time the low-fat movement was put in place (companies started adding more sugar into products to keep their foods tasting good, and could still label them "non-fat"). Coincidence? I think not. Although I whole-heartedly disagree with a lot of the bias put into this documentary, they did get something right: eating a plant-based diet. Sure, I agree we eat too much processed meat in this country and not enough plants, but there's no need to demonize all meat the way they did! Just eat LESS meat and more plants! And don't eat processed foods and sugar regularly!
Anyway, if anyone is reading this I'd suggest watching "That Sugar Film" if you ACTUALLY want to be healthy. Our country has been following the advice of this low-fat propaganda for an extremely long time. Clearly, the theory is flawed.
