A group of 20 stoners got together and watched this film after watching the first movie, some of us for the first time. We all collective agreed on a two star rating, except for a few that were crossfaded, whom gave it a 3-4.5 star rating. Not only that, we all agreed that; • someone’s fetish is reeeeaaaalllyyy showing in this movie • if the shrunken head men are ghosts, and “people usually won’t see the dead,” how come everyone could see them suddenly? • why are you making what looks to be a child-young adult give birth 💀 • suddenly speaking in a whole other language?? • backstory sounds legit ngl • not enough banana boat • too much singing, very unnecessary • literally looks like a YouTube skit • what the actual f—- was that animation of Charles’ death 💀 • it’s the most obvious cash grab while most of the cast is still alive • Catherine O'Hara aged beautifully, as good as the first film but just sweeter <3 • Beetlejuice’s wife has some pretty damn good clothes for the 14th century… • why exploit the shrunken head guys so much????? • those random portrait like shots of beetlejuice just make a lot of us so uncomfortable in the way that it’s just not like a beetlejuice movie to do that Just all around, that did not feel like a Beetlejuice movie, nor a classic Tim Burton film.
