ALL Lutonians, old and new, should watch this endearing film with pride ~ and relish the good humour as much as the music (not so sure about the dancing !) It truthfully depicts some of the most shocking events that occurred in Luton in the ‘80s & lays bare the inter generational struggles of a migrant family trying their hardest to settle into a very different, established community. Naturally gifted and talented people born in Luton can and do succeed in life, however poor their early circumstances. Thank you for this film !
