I don't think I will easily get to sleep tonite. Christopher Plummer's acting is stellar in this riveting and disturbing quiet masterpiece.

I got through cancer surgery and radiation treatments, so was wary about the plot. But couldn't resist what I knew would be fine acting by the 2 main actors. The ending left me feeling shortchanged..thus as accurate as any serious look at cancer can be.

Significant events not translated into English. Slow moving. Great prosthetics. Mostly a disappointing snapshot of one of the 20th century 's most fascinating people.
