I’m an OLD guy (77), a fitness swimmer, and a movie buff. This is an excellent movie! Forget about the controversy over her swim in terms of a true record. Benning and Foster are terrific as a pair of obsessed women who constantly challenge each other. It’s the ultimate “buddy movie” in showing how two friends can push each other physically and emotionally and still maintain a a strong relationship.
