I am late to the party but after the 1st chapter Daryl Dixon, I was jonesin for some more Walking Dead, so I decided to watch this series. As everyone has said it started off okay but the plots keep getting thinner and thinner and I don't blame the actor who played Nick for wanting to exit, he was annoying anyway. All the conflicts were weak most of which could have been over really quickly instead of repetitive stand-offs. I'm midway through the last season and because I'm a completist, I'll finish the series but to be honest I haven't seen much to recommend that someone else bothers to watch it. There are some compelling characters and few really good performances but they are the exception not the rule. Throughout this series inexplicable, one of the characters gives the "I have to do this on my own" speech and goes off on a ridiculous quest, usually after destroying a perfectly good living situation. It is infuriating, the writers were definitely phoning this in. UPDATE!!! Finished the series and it's almost offensive as I recall so many great shows over the years not getting to finalize their stories in contrast to FTWD pushing out this crap! It's a waste of time there is nothing you need here even you want to continue other spin-offs.
