I am not one for historical depictions of oriental culture, as I was never subjected to them. But wow, this is an incredible ride that puts you right in the lifestyle of 1600s era Japan. It is a beautiful, clean, mess!!!
I will rewatch it dubbed this time, as I watched it first in Japanese, which was in my humble opinion, a stellar cast, script, cinematography, and overall one of the best productions hulu has ever made.
