They deviated too much from canon. I can't get past the Spartans using a battle rifle like the assault rifle (same can be said about the DMR). Emotional Spartans, over abundance of elites everywhere ... they were elites (they weren't thrown around like grunts). ... and where are the grunts?

It was very entertaining; action scenes were reminiscent of Avengers-style choreography. It does feature annoying things that takeaway from the experience: some of which include, ladies weighting 80 lbs, taking down men who weighs 2.5 times as much with ease; cramming in Cartier watches at least once in every 20 minutes; the apparent desi love for Israeli-made Uzis (which got featured like crazy). O, also, jump-cuts are pretty annoying too. You could tell that the movie was inspired by several Hollywood hits from the last 2 decades. Screenwriter couldnt decide if he/she wanted to write Taking of Pelhalm 123 or Oceans 11, haha. Regardless, it was still a very entertaining experience. If it isnt too much of a trouble, you can turn your brain-off and grab some popcorn for it and enjoy.

I'm loving the show (I haven't finished the series yet).I hope they maintain the mystery of the protomolecule and drip-reveal as much as that is needed to keep the audience interested while exploring politics within Mars/Earth/Belt further, using new characters with their own agendas.

Literally a knock-off of a much-better South Korean 2017 film called "The Outlaws". The writers/directors literally copied 90% of the scenes and only bothered to change specific moments in the movie; they left out many important character motivations present in the Korean movie, so there was no chance that the audience could care about any of the non-titular characters (for example: one of the gangster characters girlfriend sleeps with Rana, but there is no scene with them ever meeting, which the Korean movie actually explains). The storyline was amusingly scattered to say the least. They inserted random song/dance numbers that felt more disruptive than anything else. On the bright side, Randeep Hooda was acceptable as the main antagonist, and Salman Khan was ... well, typical Salman Khan (literally has been playing the same dang character for nearly 20 years). I was feeling optimistic as Salman Khan had been making fairly good Eid-Timed movies, but this was simply fluff for the lowest common denominator. O well, may be he will make a good movie next year.

Meh movie. Not worth the 2.5 hours or so of runtime.

I enjoyed it very much. It was reminiscent of the older Guy Ritchie movies (not the later ones like Man from Uncle etc.) so it was quirky with several diverging story lines that converge together into a crescendo. The Netflix should fund development of more titles from India based on the success of this one (a bit more this and movies like Haseen Dilruba and a bit less Shahrukh Khan-type movies, not that I dislike SRK ... it is just not very representative of Indian potential any more, at least these days).

Plot was predictable but enjoyable. I would give it 5 stars but I felt weirded out by the way they were portraying the bengali hench-kids in the slums; it was reminiscent of how they portrayed the Somalians in Black Hawk Down (gun-crazed, almost savage) so I decided to take a "star" away. The international cast, multiple languages (hindi, bangla, english) laced into the script, random desi music from my child hood, decent fight-choreography ... it was all very enjoyable.

All visuals, no story telling; too busy to "look" like a dream. Almost as if the screenwriters were trying to shove what they thought of "masculinity" down the audiences throat. The film tries too hard to be "with the times"; it was just as bad as Macbeth (2015).
