This would be a great first silent film for someone new to the genre. It is beautifully restored, so every emotion is captured just as it was portrayed. I honestly forgot it was silent toward the end; the players were brilliant with their expressions and movements! I really think dialogue would have cheapened the experience. WATCH IT! It will change the way you look at films.
