If you watch these wonderful dramas set the 1960s you will find that they really draw you in. They are so well written and intriguing, only lasting an hour so great for a bit of escapism
Also you can see stars in their early days, such as Barbara Windsor. Harry H Corbett and Michael Caine - so young and fresh faced - they took minor roles which paved the way for their future success on screen.
The Edgar Wallace Mysteries can be viewed most days on Talking Pictures. I get this channel on Sky but I'm sure it can be accessed on other platforms.
Its wonderfully British. Great to see English roads without traffic jams! The old cars are a treat too as well as the combed back hair with plenty of hair spray that the ladies wore so well in the sixties. The gentlemen too are very well dressed against the décor of the day which seems to be appearing again in the 21st Century homes and offices.
I would definitely sit back and look at them if I were you and not write them off because they are black and white mini dramas from yester year. They have huge historic value and older people who view them definitely take a trip down memory lane. Love them to bits!
