Most of the meta critics are full of B S. They can't just enjoy a movie for the fact that it is sci fi. I have never read a good Review on these movies. They would rather have some sappy boring love,time piece,or historical piece for it to be "good" enough to watch. Unfortunately worth those movies there is no imagination. That is why being a sci fi person enjoys sci fi as to the what if . Don't listen to all 200 + mega critics and decide for your self. If you are a sci fi person that likes action and some great visual s watch this movie.
