I have watched the movie and read the book and they are both just phenomenal. Truly works of art. If you like fantasy, romance, and slight battle these are for you. Extremely entertaining even if sometimes it can be confusing. They are both definitely made to be read/watched twice to truly understand the concept but never the less worth it. One of the world's true wonders. Kudos to the author of the book, Diana Wynnne Jones, and the director of the movie, Hayao Miyazaki.

Awful. Was not a great movie. I see this as a complete waste of 2 hours. There is potential to the plot but the characters not written well. The mystery was dragged out and left us with a lot of questions. The ending was completely underwhelming and just sucked. Overall just a bad film.
