1. Their relationship reminds me of puppy love meets druggy codependency in a completely superficial way. Neither of them have a personality or show their love other than physically or with corny nonsense.
2. The plot made no sense and had SO MANY wholes, loose ends, unnecessary characters and side stories.. none of which are fully developed.
3. The fight scene at the end was too little too late. And the other fight scenes were just for gory's sake, nothing thoughtful or clever that aided the character's catharsis, development or story.
4. Too many characters that had no back story or explanation as to their relevance. They had a hard enough time trying to give Erik and Shelly relevance other than the fact they had a lot of screen time.
5. The dialog was absolutely horrendous. Imagine the villian in Power Rangers telling everyone their plan. They didn't know how to show development of the story on camera so they had the characters actually verbally explain things blatantly and directly. Even then the story and plot didn't align or make sense. Also the characters all spoke at around a 3rd grade level.
6. There was no sense of time in this movie. The entire movie (including them being in love) could've happened within a week.
7. It felt like this was a script for a completely different movie, they knew they couldn't sell. So they threw in a couple of Crow plot points and called it The Crow to get ppl to watch it.
8. "Will angsty teens build shines to us" This quote sounded like the director was trying to give themselves a pat on the back for making this generations crow. But dude...stop patting yourself on the back. This movie is not memorable in a good way. Add this to the list of shitty crow movies.
