The movie lacked depth and felt rushed. For a movie that took two extra years to release, you'd expect a half-way decent movie. Illumination didn't pull this one off, per usual. I'm sad as a huge Mario lover, we were really hoping for something epic. My 7 year old loved it, although he has a point, where's the double cherries 🍒?! 😁
