The poem " rage against the dying of the light " is spiritually shallow. It's an appeal to the elevated, inflated Persona... the ego's emotional despair... the flailing dominance of the inner child's victim narrative. The " upsetter " has dominated the balance with the serine accepting spirit. " old age SHOULD " is a fallacious instruction in my opinion... An otherwise brilliant film...

Personally, I blame this movie on air-born spores from damp wallpaper... Anyway... the ice-cream kiosk comment on Time was a reawakening moment for me. This movie is art/philosophy, thankfully not Preachy like some recent Coen Brothers TV productions I could mention...

An odd film.. I felt preached at. On one level a story of Father, Son and unintegrated Holy Ghost, on another level the system in charge felt more U.S.S.R than U.S.A. " craft damaged.. unable to dock ".

IMO, Watch this film in humble grace.. a young family with inspired friends rising above the conforms of ' correct-ism ', the palpable sense of living breath throughout the film.. the spirit of the lay-by in Spain is so missing from this ..tap.. swipe.. techno-blinded generation .. With all this film's courage to inspire us to live as a free individual.. it's no wonder to me that conditioned social justice correctivists feel uncomfortable about this movie and blindly reach for their virtue signalling little red handbook.
