i love the movie because I'm from Kenya and so sensitive about my people. the part that didn't amuse me was the part where Denys reacted on the partitioning of Kenya, the whites not only put borders in our lands but also they put borders in our mind and hearts. i think Denys as a character should have done more than getting angry about people dividing our land. its now that i fully understand that the whites were so bored and oppressed by their own masters that they used Africa to escape their lives in search for adventure, freedom and independence thus putting the Africans in chains.
