If you’re looking for Normal People part deux, this is assuredly not it. There is ZERO chemistry between Frances & Nick, and you’re left genuinely not caring a bit what happens either way. There’s sooo much chemistry & genuine love in Normal People (and I was hoping for the same emotional journey) but the plot of affairs & lies & drab dialogue / boring actors (except Joe A) just gives you almost nothing to hold onto. Also, who was in charge of wardrobe #sofrumpy. Super disappointed! PS the ending was ridiculous and what is with the odd melodrama of Rooney’s writing where in NP a simple misunderstanding throws them into a tragic breakup (whilst we’re supposed to believe they'd rather be dating other horrible people) and in CWF endometriosis is supposed to be worst most dramatic thing ever? Sheesh i was hoping she had an actual life threatening condition. Just bummed. I had high hopes after the off the charts chemistry of Normal People. Sadly, this was total waste of time.
