The context of the story wasn't a complete rubbish. It cud have been a much better show.. but there is a heavy dose of the clichéd characters and wokeness and feminism.. The wife who betrayed the husband and put him in the line of fire with the CIA finally becomes the main protagonist.. The female Russian spy is leagues above anyone else in spycraft.. she knows everything. The daughter is a rebellious teenager who deliberately puts herself in danger. And the main male character who is veiled as the protagonist is weak. Even though he is the chief of MI6, he is utterly incompetent. For 15 years as a spy, every single one of his achievements are due to help from one super powered Russian spy. Throughout the series he doesn't even get into a single fight or fire a single gun till the last episode. when his daughter gets kidnapped he has no idea what to do and instantly reaches out to the Russian spy to save his daughter. And when the sniper attacks the family he stays inside while the female spy and his wife defeat the assassin. All the men are either weak or incompetent or villains and all the women are virtuous, intelligent spies or honest politicians. I am all for strong female charachters but it seems that the only way to show a female as strong is by showing the men as weak.

Most importantly i believe the makers are staunch Feminists, all the main characters are Women, so much so that they turned the seemingly straight Protagonist Clarke into a lesbian.. Its like they dont wanna give men a place in the new world order.. LOL Well jokes apart, its a pretty Interesting show.. kind of makes us start visualizing ourselves in a situation where we are left to survive in the wilderness,, however even amidst the harshest of atmosphere and bloodthirsty enemies none of the main characters seem to wanna die, at least not in the fashion how GOT kills people off..
