I saw the play with Emlyn Williams who replaced Paul Schofield. Surely, one of the most dramatic and powerful, as well as moving plays I have ever attended. Ditto, the subsequent movie. A rare theatrical gem in a world of ordinary, otherwise, non-substantive draamatic events.
