This has all the promise to be a great film. The idea itself was interesting and unique. Alas, that's where the promise ended. The film must have been edited by a trainee. The pacing is off throughout. Done if the shots try to be 'arty' but just end up being goofy. The casting is predominantly off - the young girl does a good job at least. It's as if the story only skims the surface, wasting time showing you songs and dances from 'Lady Raven's that go on too long. Side characters are just stupid, who blurt things out to the main character to help him, despite the idea of the show being a trap to catch someone. I'm hugely disappointed in this film as I was genuinely excited by the premise. M. Night continues to fail to live up to his earlier films.

I liked the trailer but went in to this not expecting much. I thoroughly enjoyed it. A dark, twisted take on the Superman narrative. I would love to see a sequel or even other films within this universe.
