Disappointed I stayed up to watch this. Did not live up to the trailer hype. Kong was Pinocchio wanting to be a real boy, scar king was a 80’s gangster with his minions and Godzilla spent most of the movie powering up for the big fight just to never benefit from it. Disrespected the heritage of the franchise. Kongs fight scenes gave strong Optimus Prime vibes. Start of the movie (first 33 minutes) was bearable but every minute after that slipped further to the point of watching for the sake of watching. Acting was good but majorly let down by the writers and directors.
