Want to spend 2+ hours watching simulated animal experimentation and abuse, the plot from the Island of Dr. Moreau, the genocide of a planet and the characters spending their time together being angry and yelling at each other? Then this is the movie for you! It’s been a long time since I wanted to get up and leave in the middle of a movie (“Battlefield Earth” anyone?) and this was as close as it gets. Marvel has lost their charm and the latest batch of movies have been weak and tired. Guardians Vol. 3 continues that streak with a movie that is devoid of any fun with the cast going through the motions for a paycheck. The only redeeming quality is the last 30 min. that actually felt like a Guardians film. This movie is NOT for kids. God help the DCEU with James Gunn now at the helm. Very disappointing.
