"Glass" One of my most anticipated movies since Split was released in 2016 and the the trailer fuelled my anticipation even further by how great it looked. It's with my utmost displeasure to say that this film, sadly, did not deliver for me in the slightest....
Glass has a runtime of 2 hours & 9 minutes and I can say that I felt every minute of that time slowly tick away.... This movie starts out strong with a wonderful cast of amazing and talented actors. (James McAvoy, Samuel L. Jackson, Sarah Paulson, Bruce Willis, basically every cast member is fantastic) But progressively drags to a dull lull for 1 hour and 30, slowly building up to this big finale climax that I myself thought, we didn't quite get.
James McAvoy was tremendous again, but I also felt that unlike in Split, because it was fresh and new, it was exciting! We had never seen all the personalities in action before so we was left on the edge of our seats. So was a bit of same old same old. James was simply Incredible though
Overall I give Glass a 5/10. I expected a masterpiece that would have me glued to the screen and on the edge of my seat, instead however I found myself as if I were sitting on glass. Uncomfortable, agitated, and wanting the experience to end as soon as possible.
